Developing Life-Long Learners Through Critical Reading, Analytical Writing, and Deep Discussion

Learning isn’t grades and worksheets — it’s about building the skills necessary to tackle challenging problems, both independently and in collaboration with others. I teach students repeatable frameworks for reading and writing so that they can stop relying on someone else to ask them questions and start asking their own questions instead.

What are your rates for private tutoring?

My standard rate is $65/hour for virtual sessions and $80/hour for in-person sessions. This includes all preparatory work, including individualized curriculum design and post-session feedback! I offer discounts for bundling sessions, sessions longer than 1 hour, and group tutoring. If this rate doesn’t work for your budget, reach out! Cost should never be prohibitive when it comes to learning. I am happy to work with families in order to arrive at a rate that works for you.

No-shows and last-minute cancellations: tutoring

I charge a 50% fee for last-minute cancellations (less than 24 hours in advance of the session) and a 100% fee for no-shows (not on the call 15 minutes after scheduled start time).

What are your qualifications?
