Join me on Tuesday, September 16th from 7pm-8:30pm EST to discuss the first book ever written! It’s a fast-paced story of adventure about a king who foolishly wants what he can’t have, and his pretty gay friendship with the wild man Enkidu. This book touches on so many themes – gender and sexuality, the risks we take for the ones we love, and the desire to escape death. Additionally, we will be able to make lots of connections to other religious texts (like the Bible) and the noteworthy similarities between events and characters.
